WEST LIBERTY, WV – West Liberty University is ready to invite students and alumni to its annual Homecoming football game.
This Saturday, October 19, the Hilltoppers will face off against the West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats, with kickoff scheduled for 1 p.m. at West Family Stadium. There will also be other fun-filled events taking place on the lots for the Homecoming celebration before and after the game.
The day’s festivities will kick off bright and early with tailgating starting at 8:30 a.m.. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the tailgating experience.
The highlight of the morning will be the Homecoming Parade at 10:30 a.m., showcasing the vibrant spirit of the university to kick off the festivities for the rest of the day.
As part of the game-day events, Homecoming royalty will also be announced during the game.
After the game, everyone is invited to The Alpha Tavern to enjoy great food and drinks at their Happy Hour from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m..
10 percent of Saturday’s sales from the Happy Hour will be donated to the Bob Roe Scholarship. Additionally, a DJ will take the stage at 8:30 p.m. to keep up the roaring enthusiasm for the rest of the night.
The celebration continues with an afterparty at the Dirty Dog from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m., offering an awesome atmosphere for alumni and friends to reconnect.
For those under the age of 21, a Glow Bowling After Party will take place on campus in the Union Ballroom, providing another fun option for attendees to cap off a fantastic day.
