Hello everyone! My name is Madeline Cecil, and I’m a long time movie lover.
The first movie I have decided to review for this series is the “Austin Powers” trilogy. I have always cherished these movies, as they are always able to put me in a better mood. So, if you are interested in their overview, let’s get started!
Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997)
“Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery” is the first installment to a series that rivals the
entertainment of “James Bond.” As a direct parody of the “James Bond” series, Austin Powers shares many similarities to the famous fictional spy. The movie follows our protagonist as he teams up with a “shagadellic” sidekick
to bring down the dastardly Dr. Evil. This story of action and romance will have you sitting on the edge of your seat, as well as a good laugh.

Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999)
“Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me” is a tale that starts out in tragedy. Completely nullifying the victory of the previous movie, our hero Austin Powers must face Dr. Evil once again. The plot of this movie follows the search for one’s “mojo,” an important task each one of us has faced once in our lives. This story of self-love and acceptance will warm your heart faster than a basket of kittens.

Austin Powers: Goldmember (2002)
“Austin Powers: Goldmembe”r is the last installment in this wonderful franchise. In this film, our protagonist faces the scariest foe of all: family issues. What would you do if you discovered that your worst enemy was also your brother? This installation is unfortunately considered the weakest in the franchise, despite Beyoncé’s guest appearance. Embarrassing!
