WEST LIBERTY, W. Va.– On March 27, 2025, West Liberty University’s Student Government Association collaborated with the Student Success Center for the ‘Lock-in with the Student Success Center’ event. The event was held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. that evening in the Paul N. Elbin Library.
The Student Government Association is progressing in its efforts to partner with more staff offices to showcase the different resources available on campus for students. This particular event and partnership was put together in order to get students into the library to see
the progress being made within its walls.
Andrew Lewis, the Executive Director Academic Engagement and Learning Services, helped run the event. Lewis provided study tips to the students attending the event in the form of an informational packet that students could take with them.
SGA senator Mason Stoll is a member of the programming committee that spearheaded the event. They provided students with free sticky notes, highlighters, and stress-ball keychains. Stoll stated that the event “was cute and went well” and that he was proud of it.
