The second week of Toppers Got Talent took place this Monday, Nov. 13 at 8 p.m. No contestants were eliminated last week, and all were able to return for the second round. SGA also gave out free t-shirts and snacks throughout the evening.
Zach Connor, Jessica Ballard, Ashley Pryor and Zach Rhodes returned to judge the competition. Adam Croasmun as Serenity Sparkle also returned as the host.
The first performer was Devante Brown. He played the drums to a mashup of songs including “Shape of You” by Ed Sheeran and “Mercy” by Shawn Mendes.
Zarek Wiley went next and sang “Collide” by Howie Day.
Alexis Smith performed third. For her talent, she sang “Put Your Records On” by Corrine Bailey Rae.
The next performer was Audrey Blust. She sang “Rolling in the Deep” by Adele.
Sasha Veshkurtseva planned to solve all four Rubik’s cube puzzles in under 2 minutes. She solved them in a minute and 43 seconds. She also solved one of the puzzles with just her left hand.
Andrew Mehler as Boston Michaels performed as Barbra Streisand, singing “Send in the Clowns.”
The final performance of Toppers Got Talent was by Sean McCarty. His talent was playing the electric guitar and singing “Living in Fast Forward” by Kenny Chesney.
There will be five contestants moving on to the third round. The contestants moving on will be Devante Brown, Alexis Smith, Boston Michaels, Audrey Blust and Sean McCarty.
The third round of Toppers Got Talent will take place next week at 8 p.m. in the College Union on Monday, Nov. 20. Only three performers will move on after next week.
