West Liberty University’s E. Kent & Barbara Culler Robinson Writing Center is once again open to aid students this semester.
After recent renovations over the summer to offer more comfort and accessibility for students, the center opened its doors on Sept. 10.
The Writing Center is located in the basement of the Elbin Library in room L14. The writing center is staffed with student tutors who are trained to help students with writing assignment and other professional writing projects. Dr. Amanda Tennant, Assistant Professor of Composition, is the Director of the Writing Center and oversees its tutors and operations.
Any writing assignment from any course at West Liberty is welcomed at the center. They are happy to help at any stage of the assignment from brainstorming ideas to the final draft. They are also available to help with professionals documents including resumes, cover letters and personal statements.
The writing center’s available appointment times are Mondays at noon, Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m., Wednesdays at 11 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 1:00 p.m., Thursdays at 1:30 p.m. and Friday at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. More appointment times will become available in mid-October.
