Students have returned to campus because classes begin for the spring 2019 semester on Monday, Jan. 7.
For both new students and students who live on campus, residence halls opened back up on Sunday, Jan. 6. If you would like to change your meal plan for the semester, the deadline is Jan. 18 by 4 p.m. Students can change their meal plan by visiting https://westliberty.edu/residence-life/mealplan.
The Organizational Fair is held on Wednesday, Jan. 16 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Union Ballroom. This is a good opportunity to see what clubs and organizations are on campus and get information if you would like to join.
Campus activities also resume. On Jan. 8 For National Bubble Bath Day, students can make bath bombs at 7 p.m. in the Alumni Room.
The Wellness Center will reopen on Jan. 7 at 4 p.m. The spring hours for the Wellness Center are Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Hours are subject to change for many reasons, so the quickest way to check times is by looking at the @WLActivities Instagram page.
There is also an open gym in Blatnik Monday-Friday 2 p.m.-11p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m.-11 p.m., and Sundays from 1 p.m.- 11 p.m. The gym is closed for cheering practice on Sundays 8 p.m.-10 p.m. and Soccer Club on Thursday from 8 p.m.-10 p.m.
The Robinson Writing Center has updated hours for the spring semester. There are times available Monday through Friday. You can walk in during appointment times, but it is best to schedule an appointment to ensure a tutor is available.
