The West Liberty University Gary E. West College of Business hosted its second annual Young Executive Summit on Wednesday, Nov. 1. Part of the David Wright Executive Seminar Series, the summit looks to feature guest speakers who have recently graduated from a university to give some insight for students looking to go into the business world.
The summit includes four key speakers with additional guests from Belmont Savings Bank including: Brian Campbell: Advanced Wound Territory at 3M Medical Solutions, Chase Harler: Business Development Manager for Country Roads Trust, Alicia Jordan: Marketing Director for Belmont Savings Bank and Alex Panas: Program Manager at Wheeling Heritage.
The seminar, hosted by the marketing club, looked to outline how these executives paved their way through the business world. By discussing their management philosophies, corporate strategies and competitive challenges.
WLU grad, Brian Campbell said, “Susceptibility for growth is at its largest when you’re uncomfortable”.
Afterwards there was a luncheon offered on the second-floor student lounge of Main Hall, where students could ask panelists questions and network. West Liberty University’s Gary E. West College of Business offers an accredited Business Administration degree with a wide range of majors and minors.
