Muggles all over the world are mourning the loss of British actor Alan Rickman, who passed away at the age of 69 after a brief battle with cancer on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016.

The actor, with his distinct voice, has had starring roles in many popular films such as Die Hard (1988), Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991), Sense and Sensibility (1995), and Love Actually (2003).
