Senior soccer athlete Joshua Yeaman graduates from WLU with hopes to carry on love for the sport

Joshua Yeaman is a management major here on the hilltop and originally from Doncaster, England. He also serves as a forward on the WLU men’s soccer team and grew up with soccer always being in his life.

Yeaman’s interest for soccer came from his mere interest and love for the sport which is why he decided to play it in college. With six goals to his name in 2021 for the Hilltoppers, Yeaman has played an important part in helping the team to their winningest season so far and earned himself an MEC Player of the Week Award in the process.

Outside of soccer and school, Yeaman enjoys “chilling with mates,” and watching and playing practically any sport he gets the chance to play.

After receiving his degree, Yeaman hopes to find a job as a management major. He also hopes to find a way to carry on playing the sport of soccer after college.
